‘Nienke made our wedding a uniquely beautiful experience. We did not know what to expect when we registered to be married. However, Nienke vastly exceeded whatever expectation we might then have had. Before the wedding Nienke had an interview with us in which she asked questions about who we were as a couple, and as individuals. She was very accommodating in this process, being willing to do it in English and allowing us to take our time with our responses. Later, we found that she had crafted all that she learned about us in a remarkable beautiful and personal ceremony.

The speeches which she wrote for us were eloquent and moving. They demonstrated not only Nienke’s mastery of the English language, but also a deep understanding of who we are, despite her only having known us through the initial interview. The atmosphere of the wedding was solemnly profound, yet simultaneously joyful and sentimental.

We are very grateful that Nienke officiated our wedding. She played a key role in making that day one which we will never forget.’
